Is it possible to assign/specify a Commitment Item to an Asset? The requirement is that I want to specify the Commitment Item in the Asset Master such that each posting to that asset consumes the FM budget from that Commitment item.
I know one method viz., creating FM derivation rule for each asset (sub-asset) to a Commitment Item. But this route is very cumbersome and it is not practicable to maintain so many rules as my asset register runs into several thousands in number.
Is there any method of mapping the commitment item at the time of creating an asset.
