After new system is in place, the MSSQL 2012 is installed and the old MSSQL2005 containers have been moved to new server you need to run "convert/update ool from SAP"" (SWPM)
and complete the update/upgrade of your MSSQL (OSS-Notes will exist and explain in detail)

Are you telling me that is only detach the DB from the "old" server" and attach on the SQL of the new server? Via SQL?
And the post-implementation? What is necessary?
(Note: Never did this, and I'm trying to learn with your inputs to try to do it)
