To create the outbound ORDCHG message type (which uses IDoc type ORDERS05) you need to configure an output type that is linked to the message type. This output type is created in t-code SPRO (You need some configuration output knowledge to create the output type) If certain conditions are met in the order (applying the order change), the condition (setup in the access sequence of the output type) will trigger the ORDERS05 IDoc via message type ORDCHG. WE20 (outbound tab) should be setup with ORDCHG assigned to the new output type. (There should only be 1 output type defined to ORDCHG)

Subject: PO Change Sends Out Orders Instead of ORDCHG Idoc

PO change sends out ORDERS instead of ORDCHG idoc.
After adding some delivery schedule lines the system sends out the complete ORDERS idoc instead of only the changed data in a ORDCHG idoc.
Settings in WE20 have been set up for the vendors with a partnerrole and both message types ORDERS and ORDCHG for outbound processing.
During the saving of a changed po, I got the message that nog output type could be determined, maybe the outputtype is only linked to the ORDERS message type? Please advise.
