Reply from mostafa_pajouyan on Dec 3 at 3:31 AM JG-SAPHR, You do not have to create 2 WSR. This is the whole point, since you need then to assign in IT0007 all employees to WSR1 and then to WSR2. Which is very inconvenient. It creates unnecessary Master Data and you need to have a user exit anyways for IT0007 assignment on hiring. Not nice. One WSR is sufficient, configured to be assigned for 6 month to PWS1 and the rest to PWS2. This must be repeated in T508A for every year. Which is a better option than going to Master Data level for all employees. As per the User Exit, table T552A is not employee based. It is the rollout of Work Schedule Rules. This table is created when you generate the Work Schedule and is referred to Payroll and Time Management. Therefore, changing this table through an user-exit is an option, although I agree that its not the best option. The best option is the first option mentioned above. Second option is user exit. Third would be to use the Assignment in IT0007. 4th to have a 54 weeks Periodic Work Schedule. Why not, but not neat neither. Mostafa Pajouyan Corporate Business Applications Department (CBAD)

Configure A1. 2 DWS for 10:00AM to 04:15 PM and 10:00AM to 05:00PM (say DS01 & DS02) A2. 2 PWS using the 2 DWS's (say PW01 & PW02 A3. 2 WSR's using 2 PWS's (say WSR01001 & WSR01002). B. For the empl, assign IT 7 B1. March to October WSR WSR01001 B2. November To February WSR01002 This is normal practice. One WSR can have only one PWS in any period. If a WSR is changed it will affect all employees that are using it. It cannot be changed just for one person and not for others. Neha & Mustafa: No one would use user exit for such requirements. User exits should not be based on individual employees; they need to be designed for uniform business requirements which apply across the organization. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
