Those COGS related accounts are material revaluation and scrap accounts. We use costing based COPA. My question is how to make PA segment as mandatory field in FI when we cannot set it in field status group?

My company have some COGS related GL accounts which have both MM posting and FI posting. We cannot set PSG mandatory in field status group because of MM posting. However, accounting department need PSG for FI postings. So I am thinking to set up a validation rule in FI, but it did not work because PSG is not visible in FI screen.
Any help is appreciated.
