Reply from john.louk on Feb 18 at 2:26 PM Nice idea. What version are you going from? We went from ECC 6 (no enhancement packs) to EHP4 so not sure when it was changed. But, change Pointers were given a new table BDCP2 with ECC6. But, it was not required that you migrate to the new table. So, you could do the config to use the old tables or the new table. However, when we went to EHP4, we found that the change pointer create function modules no longer looked at the config but simply write to the new table. The status update attempts to update BDCP2. If it fails it tries the update on BDCPS. The delete program still looks at the config and only deletes from that table/tables. This can provide some issues. It would be interesting to hear what EHP5 does. Cheers John

Please post here as you find gotcha's and the like while implementing an enhancement pack. Our company is implementing EHP5, so I'll be posting about that.
