Reply from LRKSVS on Jul 3 at 4:58 AM Mr. Mahesh, In the Configuration of FI, Number ranges are created which contain the from Number and to Number. These number ranges are assigned to each Account Group. That will restrict that the GL number for that Account Group must be with in the specified range. Therefore, once a GL is created under an Account Group, it is practically not possible to change its Account Group. Instead, you can create another GL account in the selected Account Group, may perhaps be, with the same description and other parameters. But I feel it is not virtually not possible to change the Account Group of the existing GL account. Moreover, no great deal of benefits can be derived even if you change the Account Group except, perhaps, automatic regrouping of the GL account in the FSV. If the requirement is only to regroup in the FSV, you need not change the Account Group. You can simply re-configure the FSV alone. Regards, LRKSV Sastry

Try creating your master record using a number within the said number range and see if you are able to save your master record, please.
