Reply from TerryB on Jun 7 at 2:59 PM In SE80, bring up the function group for the generated maintenance dialog. In the left-hand pane, open the tree branch for Screens. Double-click on the screen in question. On the toolbar above the right-hand pane, click on the Layout button. Double-click on the upper-left corner of the table control (just to the left of the first column header). At the bottom of the properties popup for the table control you will see "Fixed Columns"; put in the number of columns you wish to freeze on the left. As an aside, if you have a table with LOTS of columns (and it sounds like you do), consider using a two-step maintenance dialog. This will allow the user to maintain a record either in the table control, or in a row-wise popup by double-clicking on the row. Our users have grown very fond of two-step maintenance dialogs for maintaining "wide" z-tables. Cheers, Terry

I made changes to the Table Maintenance Generator and generated the table. Everything is there and works OK. Because of the added fields all of the columns will not display so there is a scroll bar at the bottom. When I use View Maintenance (or SM30) and scroll right to view the rest of the fields, only the new fields (9-13) scroll. I would like for all of the record to scroll except the key field (1st field). What do I do to get the entire record (except key) to scroll? | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
