in case that the requirement you have is coming from Tax authorities (independent of the country) normally DART is the right tool to export tax relevant data. Please take a look into
SAP note 99914....
DART is intended to aid you in complying with legal and other data
retention needs. By default, DART includes data that has been
specified by the ASUG Tax group. This data is thought to be
commonly needed by most companies in order to meet tax data
retention requirements. To meet all obligations it usually is
necessary, however, to add company-specific data via the customer
extensions that are provided by DART.
o The design of DART is based on an interpretation of IRS Rev. Proc.
98-25. This regulation was published in March 1998 in "Internal
Revenue Bulletin 1998-11". These bulletins can be downloaded via
this URL on the IRS website
http://www.irs.ustreas.gov/prod/bus_info/bullet.ht ml. Also see the
website http://www.revenueprocedures.com.

(download e.g. using the SAP Service Marketplace)
However you should perhaps ask the tax auditor directly if they have a specific requirement regarding tables, format, structure etc.

Subject: SAP Module That Manages/Generates Audit Information
Is there any SAP module that manages/generates audit information? It is a constant request I get from the business. Massive downloads of BSEG take too long and normally are so big that downloading the information becomes a challenge. There must be some better way! The last request we have is to provide all financial transaction from 2010. Just by executing BSEG for January blocks the system. Any advice is welcome.
Will it be DART? If it is DART, is DART compex to implement or is it ready for use? |
