The fundamental error is in setting the base UOM to PCE. Tthe base unit of measure should always be the smallest UOM that is likely to be used - in this case COL.

Subject: Rounding Difference of UoM

Hi,

We need help in this issue. The issue is the rounding of difference due to the defined alternative units in the master data. Please see data below:

Material: 123
Base UoM: PCE
Conversion: 1 PCE = 6 COL
Decimal Limit: 3 decimals only

The user entered receipt of 2 COL (take note, the UnE is COL). However, the stock displayed is 1.998 COL only in MMBE (equivalent to .333 PCE). We explained to the user that it is not possible to get the 2 COL because of the conversion and the decimal places limit.

Is there a possible solution/workaround to this? They are still insisting to use 2 COL.

Please help. Thanks in advance.
