I have created a new PO, that too after logging out and logging in back again.
The new PO is still picking up the old price from the info record.
Also I checked the info record, even it shows the same old price.

If your profile has the EVO parameter assigned to you and it has a value set up to update PIR from PO it should work.
But it works only for new PO.
Please create a new PO and let me know if the PIR is updated with the new price.
Before also check that the value for EVO parameter has also the indicator "Always copy" in the Price Adoption tab.
