Hi Bernd

There are a number of OSS notes out there on how to handle bank account numbers longer than 18. I'd start with note 1585003.

Subject: Payment to Chile (country code CL) OY17

Dear All,
We are facing a problem with our payment to Chile.
I think the problem is caused due to their bank account numbers - they have 20 digits.
But SAP only allows a Bank account number length of 18 in OY17.

We did a payment run and transferred the money to a Chilean bank but the bank was not able to pass the money over to our supplier.

Has anybody the same issue?
Any ideas how to solve it? Is OY17 the right transaction or do I need to adjust anything else?

Thanks for feedback.

Regards,
Bernd
