On the other hand, in sq02 (SAP query) you can't specify the open cursor in a join condition. If we were talking about a report, then it could be right. In the context of the question, your answer is definitely wrong. BTW, I'd test again the cursor technique, but last time I did it, it was slower than hashed tables (it was also slower than nested selects...) .
