It sounds to me the error message is telling you values for the Rules of the form scenario have not been configured in your system. Using the design time tool, under 'Other attributes', you need to select Rules & configure values for each of the rules displayed (assuming your form design is based on SAP standard). Appropriate values would be:
CHECK_W4_APPLICABLE : Rule is W4 indicator = 1; CHECK_W4_NOT_ZERO: Rule is W4 indicator <> 0; IS_STEP_REQUEST: Form Scenario Stage = 'REQUEST'. If this configuration doesn't work for your particular business requirements, you may need to modify these rule values to achieve the results you want.

Subject: Change Permanent Residence in US Error in SAP ESS Portal EHP5
We are testing in SAP ESS portal (back end R/3 is sand box) - error in 'check tax data entry' - rule check_w4_applicable does not exist. Form scenario - S_HR_PA_US_CHG_PERM_ADDR VERSION 00000.
How to remedy this error? Testing out of box change permanent address functionality. Address change is within same state, hence no W4 tax issue. How to bypass this W4 check? Or how to RESOLVE ISSUE WITH rule CHECK_W4_APPLICABLE DOES NOT EXIST? |
