Subject: Period lock in PCA
There is no standard functionality for period lock in PCA. One option is to control the access to top accounting managers.
Alternatively, discuss this solution with your ABAP Consultant, it could be challenging but may work.
- Activate User Exit PCASELEK for Activity PRC5 (tranaction code 0KEO)
- Create a custom table to maintain allowed posting period for desired organization entity (company code, profit center, etc.)
- CMOMD Implement User Exit PCASELEK, and validate the Posting Date against entry in custom table for organization entity.
