Hi Brett, Can you give us the full T588Z details for the context? What do you need to do for QM and if not so? Probably you are missing T588Z lines for other payroll areas. To re-activate a person, what are your requirements? Also, try using P0001 instead of PSPAR. To check all IT data is created for a pers action, to check in T588Z, try using a function call in the last infotype for the action. If this does not work, you may need a user pgm to check pers actions done that day and if all the IT's are created. This pgm may be set up in a daily batch job. It may also be run on ad hoc basis. It is a common issue where a user skips an IT and does not complete the pers action. Also in the payroll schema, you may include a user function created to check all the data exists for a person. Testing such requirements needs to include different possible scenarios. Even then, as per Murphy's law, it is still possible a scenario has not been tested. Testing has to be in line with the business needs and constraints. Hope this helps. Regards, JG

We have some Dynamic Action configuration based around Payroll Area. Note that we could also test on Pers Sub Area. The trigger is the saving of IT0007 record. 0007 04 363 P T001P-MOLGA='13' 0007 04 364 P PSPAR-MASSN='Z5' 0007 04 365 P PSPAR-PERSK<>'23' 0007 04 366 P PSPAR-ABKRS='QM' We want the system to determine the Person's Payroll Area as of the Latest Action Date. The problem that we have is that if on the date the Action is run (today), the person has a Payroll Area other than QM, the subsequent steps do not occur. We would have simlary issues if testing for EGRP, ESRGP or PSA Does anyone know how to get the system to do the check as of the Start Date of the Action? Any help would be much appreciated as we are having to manually check that all required Infotype and Sub-Type records have been created using program HTWLINF0 Thank You | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author.
