Hi everyone

You can assign a counting rule but you don't have to assign an absence quota type for deduction.
The counting can be used to pay and also to reduce the basic pay through /8** changed in pay roll schema XT00->pcr XPPF and its sub rules. Then w/t's are reduced in XVAL using /***.

Subject: Absence days (ABWTG) field in IT2001

Hi Everyone,

I need some information on ABWTG field in IT2001 , it displays "The number of days determined by the system on the basis of information from the employee's work schedule, and on any data which overrides the work schedule (such as substitution data, or changes to working days)."

Suppose an absence type is configured to count off days as absences if they fall between the start and end of that particular absence. For example, employee applies leave from Friday & Monday, it is considered as 4 days of absence. In this case field ABWTG should display 2 days (fri/mon) or 4 days(fri/sat/sun/mon)? We want the system to display 4 days but it shows 2 days , can anybody please advise how this can be achieved?

Thanks
Poonam
