Hi Craig, 1. It is always recommended to upgrade your solman first before you upgrade the landscape. 2. It is always recommended to read the satellite system information from solman before you trigger mopz. 3. If the satellite system is dual stack, the Java configuration is mandatory to be defined properly in SMSY in solman. 4. After this you have to select the files in mopz. It is not mandatory to patch base version when you are upgrading, but it is recommended. Since you are upgrading from EHP1 to EHP2, system is not bothered about the patch level of source version and it will select a file of upgrade (Delta upgrade) which will do it first. Once this is completed then it will patch the targeted version to latest. But you can not find delta version by skipping one level. Like EHP1 to EHP3 directly. On this stage there will be a delta upgrade file from EHp1 to EHP2 and then EHP2 to EHP3 version. So you can proceed without any issues. Dinesh

When we run the Maintenance optimizer and the stack.xml is generated (Solution Manager is EHP 1) as I see the files in stack, the results are asz below: for example: SAP_ABA, current level and release is 701 level 03 The target is release 702 level 08 but the stack created for this upgrade only adds files 702, level 01 to 08 in the download basket. In conventional terms the support packages should be upgraded sequentially, and as per my research the highest level for SAP_AB at release 701 is level 09. Is this correct that the upgrade of EHP2 can directly jump from SAP_ABA release 701 level 03 to EHP 2 702, level 01 and ahead? Please advise. Thank you, Kind regards | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N. Scottsdale Road Suite 280, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 | | dineshkumarvs SAP Basis Helper
