Thanks everyone. Yes, it looks like we'll use MI10 and then reclassify the affects to an appropriate GL in our records. I appreciate the support since I was unable to resolve this with our usual consultants.

Subject: Adjusting Consignment inventory from stock or to unrestricted stock

I am looking for a way to adjust consigned stock from plant inventory or back to unrestricted stock where it could be adjusted manually.

Basically, our original configuration of one order type wrongly used movement 621 with special stock indicator V rather than a standard movement type. This was not discovered from some time and was inflating consigned "V" inventory. Now we need to adjust these back in to our stock so that they can be consumed against a specific GL. I have proposed copying an existing consignment pickup order type that uses movement 632, indicator "W" and altering this to use movement type 622 but am getting resistance from our SAP consultant. Once these stock are in unrestricted then we can easily deal with them using existing steps such as 251 movement through MB1A.

Are there any other options? What is the complexity of using the suggestion I've supplied?
