In the Material Master you can set up order unit equals issue unit. In your case, because each roll is different in meters, I would keep the order unit and issue unit as meters.

I'm doing a SAP project.
I have some problem now.
we are using roll type material as raw material with batch management.
but, everytime the unit are different.
today we receipt 1 roll, 1200 meter with batch no 100.
yesterday, we receipt 1 roll, 1100 meter with batch no 99.
two material have same material code.
When we issue these material, we must issue by roll not meter unit.
In that case, who make material issue reservation are doesn't know what batch has specific meter.
even if user make reservation that has material 1000meters, we need to issue 1100 meters, batch 99.
