I have been involved in 5 SAP Go-Live Implementations. During each SAP implementation I taught Purchasing and Receiving personnel the necessary transactions they needed to perform their jobs hand on. I also developed training materials to use as aids. Recently, I have been asked by a company to help them implement SAP. They are currently in the planning stages. I have not worked for this company yet and have explained the involvement I have had in previous implementations. They want me to take charge and motivate the people that are already there because there is quite a bit of animosity. I have to come up with a strategic plan. Are there any suggestions?
Remember: I first have to get the people to buy in to the program. I will have to learn their jobs and what their needs will be. I welcome any suggestions.
