They may try deleting the local (their own transport) transport request from the queue and the related physical file if the local transport request has been already transported to other systems or to production.
After which, they can copy your (the one you gave them) transport file to their local transport directory and manually add it to the local transport queue.

We created a normal Workbench transport in our DEV system. We released it and sent it to a customer. It turns out they have a transport that has the exact same number already in their system that is also called DEV.
Is there any way for us to manually number a new transport with perhaps a 999999 number?
They tried renaming the R*.DEV and K*.DEV files to R*.ZZZ and K*.ZZZ before they imported, but this did not work.
