Here I have few challenges in reviewing existing process standards in Global Mobility or International Assignments in our company. Restrictions: Ours is a global SAP HR setup on ECC5 (upgrading to ECC6 in 2012) with EP7 (ESS & MSS) in place. So no switching to Management of Global Employment feature yet. Also we do not have geographic subareas but employment based. Interestingly we also have local SAP HR system running on ECC6 in china receiving data from global system. We have Mobility types as 1> Extended Business Trips for 1-6 months 2> Graduate assignments for 6-8 months 3> Expat Assignments for 6-12 months & 1-5 yrs (Host Payroll) 4> Transfer on Temporary & Permanent Basis (Host Payroll) Challenges: 1> New Mobility types to address all types of mobile employees. For eg a lent out action within same country. 2> Very important challenge is to have proper authorization in place to restrict access to infotypes based on employee groups 3> Cleaning of a custom infotype that stores Home & Host information for that assignment. Which has to be cleaned with erroneous data periodically. 4> Reporting is a huge challenge to track the history, keeping headcount, contract types, employee types and Globl pernr in view with numbers and location. 5> How to extend this reporting using BW & HR Portal Hope any HCM Principal Consultants can help me...
