We use the Capacity Utilization Level (PA0008-BSGRD) field on the employee's basic pay record to record FTE. In reporting we divide the field value by 100 to arrive at an FTE for the employee.

Subject: What is employee FTE vs position FTE

Currently we have been using the holder relationship percentage (A/B008) to indicate employee FTE%. In other words if the holder percentage is 50% then his FTE is assumed to be .5. I believe this may be a wrong interpretation and would like you to define for me what an employee FTE is and how it can be identified or calculated?

The objective is to compare the position FTE with the employee FTE

Thanks
Pascal
