Hi,

Good question! I don't see how you can connect multiple ABAP system to one JAVA ADS.

Subject: ADS setup - multiple landscape

I was wanting to know, with the ADS setup, if I have this installed on one server, and install a second server, is it possible to get the second server to use the ADS configuration on the first one?

I have installed a new SAP server, minus the java instance, and want to use the ADS connection from the first server, as this does have a java instance. When I set the RFC connection up on the second server, I use the id and password and point the target host to the first one, but cannot get the test form to display. I get challenged for the ID and password as well when testing the FP_TEST_00 program.

If I have to install a java instance on each system, then I can do that, but looking to make this simple if possible.

I notice that when running some of the tests for ADS, that I get errors as well. Is it possible to install ADS on one system, and have other systems connect?

This is ECC6.0, windows 2008 server, db2/os390 database.
