thanks Raghav. Now a different question on the SLD...
sldcheck on the ECC is failing with the below error. But its able launch the SLD web page correctly.
Calling function LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS
Retrieving data from the SLD server...
Function call returned exception code 4
=> Check whether the SLD is running!
Summary: Connection to SLD does not work
=> Check SLD function and configurations
SAPSLDAPI , LCRSAPRFC tcp/IP are configured correctly in the ECC system and they are using the related registered program by using the "gateway host" of PI server. SPROXY working fine. Why sldcheck is failing on LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS ?
