When copying a system from SID1 to SID2 you do not want the source systems
RFC destinations in the target system.
This could lead to unwanted or even PROD data being sent / received when
you do not want it...could be a very bad thing.
so to eliminate this potential bad thing.
export out the rfc destinations from target system prior to refresh to
preserve the original rfc's
when you do the system copy..after a successful copy and database is back
active...before you start SAP application activity
delete the imported rfc destinations the replace/import with the ones you
exported prior to the copy...this way there is no way you would be using
the source systems rfc's
you will have imported the original rfc's back into your copied system
this is part of my normal system refresh activities
