I already did the export and import of SQL Server to Oracle, this is, I already finish the migration of SQL database to Oracle DB. This migration it was from Windows/SQL Server to Linux/Oracle. In past we have a process which read/write an external table in SQL database through a .dll file which made that connection... and we have now this problem because now our operation system are Linux and we want to continue this connection but it seems to me this is impossible in Linux platforms... as I read in other forums this connection it will not possible because it needed the dbmssslib.dll but as you know linux does not have .dll files instead it try to find the dbmssslib.so (.so extension) but we do not find this file anywhere!
Any ideas how to overcome this?
