I am working on a P&L and in my P&L i want to calculate a formula in which i want to have a variable which should change according to the no. of periods selected on general selection screen

The Formula is :
(Actual YTD Balance/ no. of months) * 12 * 105

This is a projection formula. and the "no. of months" should be a variable, i.e. it should be the period entered in the general selection screen.
