Hi Vamsi It 50 is not required for CATS. In IT 1 - Time admin (P0001-SACHA) you can use specific codes to determine access to portal and time eval. For example: ESS - access to Portal, no Time eval ESN - access to Portal and negative time eval PTN - negative time eval You can use security profiles to determine access to portal. Those empl with the ESS codes in P0001-SACHA will have this security profile as a cross reference. Those empl with negative time eval codes in P001-SACHA will have either 9 or 7 in P0007-TMSTA, This TMSTA can be set in dynamic actions based on P0001-SACHA. You should not need any personnel structure changes to reflect access to portal or people having time eval. Hope this helps Regards, JG ---------------Original Message--------------- From: gotovamsee Sent: Sunday, September 26, 2010 10:18 AM Subject: Portal and CATS Query > Hello All, > > We are implementing portal solution for time and have the following queries: > > > We decided on Negative Time Management with CATS and in this scenario do you think we will see any necissity to maintain IT0050 Time Recording Info? Even for maintaining different authorizations for 2 employee groups on time event types do we need to maintain IT0050 in -ve Time Mgmt? > > > And by any chance we can use TMSTA as "7" instead of "0" for employees that doesnt participate in Time Evaluation, even in the case of weird scenarios? > > > I have a situation where we want to divide all employees having access to portal for recording their attendances and absences for time evaluation as one group and the rest as another group. Now what are the possibilities to do this other than making any changes to personnel structure? | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
