Hi, You have imported this transport during business hours. With a critical table like LIKP this is really dangerous. You should only import transport requests like this when nobody is working on the system. Each time someone is trying to use the Sales Transactions the version of the program is being compared and generates a new version. You only option is to stop and restart SAP. Caddick Subject: [sap-basis] Data Type length Error with append structure Posted by jhinkin on Aug 5 at 6:50 AM Hi Gurus, I just added an append structure to LIKP and when moving to the Q system all went well. Moving to Production caused all sorts of errors, however. Transactions VA02, VL03N and others are generating core dumps. All of the errors have to do with LIKP and the data type length/size... "The following object was requested: Data type..............................: "LIKP"." "The data type "LIKP" was reloaded from the database while the program was running. However, the system found a version of the type that was newer than the one required." "Data type "LIKP" was found in a newer version than required." Plus some other errors regarding the length of the data type LIKP. What this tells me is that the appended table is still in the buffers. But refreshing the buffers has not had the desired effect. There are still some people on the system, though - does that have an effect? We are trying to avoid bouncing the system, but will do that if necessary. Thanks for any help. | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N. Scottsdale Road Suite 280, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 | | D. Caddick SAP Basis Top Contributor
