Hi

You will have to open period 3 and run depreciation for that asset. Secondly you could change the
capitalization date to the third period and when you run AFAB again for depreciation SAP will
play catch up and depreciate from period three provided the cost centre head is willing to take
a knock in his /her profit and loss in the period the depreciation is run as the depreciation will be
for period three and the current period depreciation is run.

Regards

Daryl

For one of the particular asset we charge Unplanned Depriciation. From the very beginning we post an entry from ABAA for unplanned depreciation. After that we run AFAB. But in AFAB screen we give the period 4 instead of 3. Actually this depreciation charge on 3rd period but by mystically we charge depreciation in the period 4.

Now we create a transaction type from AO78, and pass again an entry from ABAA and after that run AFAB for the period 4. As a result 4th period depreciation is knocking off in the screen shot AW01N.
Now the problem is I want to post the depreciation in the period of 3. After the passing the entry from ABAA, we run AFAB for the period of 3. Fortunately system give shows an error message. I tried repeat run from AFAB but its not work. From AW01n we cant get the Period 1,2 and 3rd period depreciation.

Now our main issue is how we post the depreciation in the 3rd period?
