Hi Mark,
You got that error because SapEhpi tool tried to create tablespace PSAPSR3701X (used to create shadow instance) and in your system you didn't have enough space. To solve this you can create tablespace PSAPSR3701X with brtools or with SQLplus (it is more easy to create using brtools) including datafiles (you have to create enough datafiles). I think if you will create 3-4 datafiles with auto extend till 31 GB will be enough for your shadow instance. In my last upgrade I created 3 datafiles on another disk with auto extend till 31 GB.
