Hi,

You should perform an offline backup as soon as possible. An offline backup is always consistent.

Hi All,

We are in a situation; where in archive log files were moved to a different directory than the defaut saparch.
the other new directory was removed by someone.

the db was not backed up for quite long time.
What is the advice for us to get a good backup atleast now, so that if in case of disaster we can atleast restore it to a consistant state as of now.

Is it possible by any means, pls advice, dba stuff is quiet new for me.
thanks
Sat
