I faced the same issue. I dont think you can turn on half month depreciation
in a live system. I removed half periods and then implemented again at the
start of our new implementation. There may be an Oss program that needs to
be run to do this. I would suggest logging an OSS message and asking SAP if
its possible to change periods in a live company.
