Hi,

You need to first decide what approach you are going to take with
implementing the New ledger ( parallel accounting, additional accounts
or separate company code)- Read this link ( and all the hyper links with
in)

I chose additional account approach. You need to create the new depreciation
area. In define how it posts to General Ledger, you choose option 2 or 4.
You define G/L accounts to which depreciation posts in AO90( you will define
two G/L accounts, one for IFRS and one for USGAAP). Your acquisitions don't
post in real time, you will need to run ASKBN to post these acquisition
values periodically.
