Hi Kelly,

I had a similar issue when working with portal. So what we did was,created
new users with default password.
Then we login and changed the password to generic one,before sending the
user id /password . My company was against to
ECATT /LSMW. All the work was done manually.
User type was : dialog

In your case,you have to create two scripts:
1. create user with initial password.
2. Change the password to generic one.

Another procedure is to change the user type to service if you company
agrees.
