Hi Mridulg

Before you do the cleanup, could you just check if the database is up and
running?

I've actually experienced a couple of times that SAPinst display hangs and
shows the same phase for a long time, even though the installation has
finished successfully in the background.

You can check the DB status with command "db_state" in DBMCLI.

LEH

Hi,

I am trying to cleanup the previous install directories by using uninstall
utility of sapinst but at the time of superdba and control manager pwd
input, its not acceptiing the pwd i mentioned, can you tell me how can i
change it manually, I even tried to login thru DBM cmd line interface and it

accepted pwd there but not accepting when In am giving it on uninstall
screen.

the DBM cmd line interface shows as:
Enter server name: wss-cha-w6q
Enter database name: W6Q
Enter user for authorization: superdba
Enter password:
E:\sapdb\programs\pgm\dbmcli.exe on wss-cha-w6q : W6Q>

Please guide.

Mridul
