Are you providing the components to the supplier? If so, use
subcontracting instead of standard procurement.
If not, and you are not using DMS then it restricts your options a bit.
I'm not too well up in this as we never do it outside of subcontracting
but, if there aren't too many components, couldn't you use something
like the PO text field to list them?
Someone else may know of a better solution
Cheers

Hi Keith,
Thanks for your quick reply. but little bit clarification I would like
to get from you.
If we don't give idea about materials to be used to complete SFG at
supplier end how supplier will come to know about SFG construction.
OR
Please suggest can we attach SFG BOM to such PR items directly without
using DMS? & how?
warm regards,
Maddy

Why would you need to have the components in the PR for direct
procurement of SFG? You are just purchasing the SFG item which already
includes all the components. If you included the components in the PR
then you would be purchasing the assembled SFG and all of the components
as well so you would end up with one complete SFG plus all the
components to make another SFG.
Cheers

How to bring child items of SFG in SFG purchase requisition for direct
procurement.
If we use item category L in sub contracting PR then all items of sfg
get transfered in to PR but while direct procurement of SFG child items
are not getting transfered.
