Subject: Overtime Calculation for Two (2) Scenarios
> Hi SAP Gurus,
I am currently on a new project implementing Pakistan specific SAP HCM. I've the following scenario for which I require your expert opinion.
My client pays Labour employees for the overtime they perform based on the following formula.
1st Scenario:
Normal Overtime Calculation:
((Gross monthly salary X 12) / 365 / 8)) * 2 = Per Hour Rate
Per Hour Rate * no. of overtime hours worked = Overtime Amount
We normally develop ABAP function to transfer overtime hours from ZL table to IT 0015 to create payment. Is there any standard way to cater this requirement?
2nd Scenario:
Client pays work on public holidays i.e. fixed and movable holidays as per the following formula.
((Gross monthly salary X 12) / 365 / 8)) * 3 = Per Hour Rate
Per Hour Rate * no. of overtime hours worked = Overtime Amount
Again I want to know if there is a standard way to cater the 2nd scenario too?
Your help will really be appreciated.
Thanks,
IRFAN MALIK
SAP HCM Consultant
SIEMENS Engineering Co.
