It always depends on your implementation Dave. The best answer for one company may not be the best answer for another. If you always go with the FM, you may end up with a very poorly running system. If you always go with the faster code, you may end up with a system that fails under certain conditions. Everything has to be judged on its own merits in it's specific arena.
