The period of unpaid Study Leave to be granted shall not be less than 30 days and shall not exceed 3 years (i.e. 1,095 days). Payroll will not process salary of the affected employee during the period of Unpaid Study Leave and the system behavior will be similar to an employee whose employment status is "INACTIVE" In the above category, no employee will be granted unpaid leave for more than seven (7) days if, at the time of application, the leave quota is greater than ( >) zero (0). I am now confused at Absence valuation rule on how to proceed further.
