Subject: Cannot Flag STO Lines as Delivery Complete
From a series of incorrect user processing events, we have a situation where an STO Delivery has been "picked", (but not PGI), the corresponding Shipment document is closed, the Shipment Cost Document is settled, and the corresponding Invoice for the Freight costs to ship the STO has been Paid. So, basically the entire "Document Flow" for the STO is locked and cannot be reversed.
Any attempt to flag the STO lines as Delivery Complete results in error: "Indicator cannot be set for line xxxx" because there have been no PGI transactions done at the Delivery level because the fields are grayed-out on the Delivery. Any attempt to manually PGI or change the Delivery Document results in error: "Change restricted shipment costs for shipment xxxxxx are settled".
Although the STO is physically shipped through our Warehouse Management system, it still shows "open" in SAP, and thus is acting as "availability" to confirm Sales Orders against at the Receiving plant. We have temporarily band-aided this by changing the STO line delivery dates out into 2030, but would like to find a permanent fix and a way to actually flag the STO lines as "Delivery Complete", even though no PGI transaction has occurred.
Also, in our Business Warehouse, the STO still shows open and so is providing invalid information for any Transfers reporting being done from that system. |
