Reply from wagoss56 on Aug 18 at 1:10 AM Why are you using M1 Notification for breakdown? Typically M1 are requests for maintenance work and M2 is for Malfunctions, e.g. The equipment is not operating per manufacturer or production specifications. The breakdown indicator is also typically used when the equipment is broken down and is not available for use. An equipment that has a slight vibration or a seal leak, but is still running should not be considered a breakdown, but rather a malfunction. I would question that you would have a true 90% breakdown ratio. It is best to have actual duration hours calculated by entering the actual date/time the equipment became unavailable, almost always a time before the Notification was created, and the time you released the equipment back to production, almost always a time before the actual date/time of completion of the Notification. By actually entering the date/times, to will typically get more actual data, then having somebody type in, let's 3 hours.

Is it possible to tick breakdown indicator by default for Notifications type M1 created with Order Type PM01 (Corrective Maintenance)? We note that for 90% corrective maintenance the breakdown indicator should be ticked so what's the best practice to enforce users to tick the breakdown indicator and maintain its duration.
