Reply from Hans vB on Aug 11 at 6:04 AM Hi, Check with telnet if port to msg server is open like TELNET <HOSTNAME or IP> 36yy (space between Host and port) if this connection fails then the port 36yy is not open for traffic Open port in destionation system and network flow If OK then check if the following services exist or add the service sapdpyy 32yy/tcp and service sapgwyy 33yy/tcp and sapms<SID> 36yy/tcp # SAP System Message Server Port where yy = sysno Do not forget the /tcp entry (protocol allowed) check if you have a sapms<SID> 39yy/<protocol> entry in this services list (might cause a problem) Or install SAProuter on destination server wich uses standard port 3299 i would also advice to update your sapgui now shows 7.30 use minimum 7.40 p10 kr hans

It includes 100 entries of sapdpxx and sapgwxx. What else could be checked to resolve the problem? i.e. is there anything to be inserted into the host file!! | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
