This question is fairly vague and open-ended.

When you say you want to hide a column through ABAP code, what are you trying to do?

If you are simply showing a table even for maintenance solely through an ABAP program, you can control every part of this and simply not include the column on any screen you build.

If you are calling SM30 in you ABAP program, you can create a view (Projection view) and call it in your code. However, I do not believe you can maintain the table using a projection view.

If you are calling SM30 directly, the above applies and you can again use a view.

This is just some possibilities. In order for the group to give you potentially better answers, the group would need more details on your requirement.

Cheers

John
