Only the components (Sub items) will be shipped. But the thing is, from the
end user point of view, when a Sales order raised by entering the BOM (Main
Item), the system should display the Ship-to-Party(XYZ) for Main Item and
ABC for the components.
As I said earlier, there is no shipment required for the Main Item, it is
only used as reference for the components as to get it into Sales Order.

Not happening in configuration - there are user exits available where you
could do some custom development but I would have to say it seems a little
unusual as a request - could you describe the business requirement you are
trying to fulfill and perhaps it will lead to more helpful responses. |
