you have several problems I think, after this response tell me if any others subsist.
1. Executing simulation before any real calculation
in order to solve this you can consider always the end day of the payroll period despite what is in field PA0003-ABDRT. By doing this your calculation will always consider this date no mater what.
2. Executing the real calculation
If you start considering the end of period date instead of PA0003-ABDRT, the IT0003 update will no longer be needed and the calculation will work as pretended.
By changing the logic of using PA0003-ABDRT and starting using the end of period day you will always have the same date and won't have the stress of the second calculation.
Do you think that this could help the process?

Dear All,
I am facing a huge problem during rerun of live payroll. Based on some complex gross up and tax calculation of client I compared last payroll run from IT0003 with the assignment period maintained in IT0016 and based on the comparison the program will add 1 with the last payroll run month from IT0003 and process next month's tax calculation.
Now when I am doing a live payroll run first time for a particular month the results are coming correct . But If I do a simulation run after live run the results are coming incorrect for the same month. This is because the program is taking the last payroll run date from IT0003 and adding 1 to IT as per the logic and processing next month's tax calculation though I have not changed the control record or have done exit payroll. Ideally it should show the same result of the current month in simulation mode for whom I did the live run.
Another thing If I made any corrections during corrertion mode after live run the system again is not updating the correct results because of above logic.
Again if I delete the payroll results of the month and rerun the same the results are coming correct
Request you to kindly provide a solution for this since UAT is going on and it is impossible to change the logic as tax calculations are coming correct only I am having rerun issue.
