I kindly request your vast experience in clarifying a strange behaviour I currently see with one of my clients.
This client has enabled New GL. There are Accounting documents in BKPF with no BSEG lines at all. There are corresponding entries in FAGLFLEXA table but no BSEG lines. Strange thing is, the JE total reconcile with FAGLFLEXT and FAGLFLEXA lines. But BSEG lines are not there at all.
On getting the data for AR Analysis, I have checked for below scenarios:
1) All entries are Leading ledger related postings.
2) There is no 3rd party system maintained for sales activity.
3) The client hasn't gone for any upgrade in the past.
4) There are no entries in BSEG_ADD table.
5) The documents are not Noted/Sample items.
6) All documents in BKPF have BSTAT = NULL and valid document types.
7) There are other documents from the same Business Unit/Company Code having BKPF with BSEG entries/lines correctly maintained.
I checked SCN and so many posts in Internet. But no success. I reached out to my FICO expert as well.
I believe you may have seen a similar case somewhere in your experience. I have checked for all known states but unfortunately no positive clue.
Is this a valid case at all? Any help from your end is really appreciated. Thanks in advance for your precious time and support.
