Reply from Waelz, Dean on Jul 21 at 4:22 PM The fact that it's reported to be intermittent and that it's only an issue on the VPN - makes me wonder if this VPN is running as a cluster (many VPNs do, to avoid SPOF) and the one node has the correct/expected rule in place and the other node does not have that same rule in place. And that missing rule (I bet) is going to be between the VPN cluster node and the Kerberos server host (not an SAP host). So it works or not (crapshoot) depending on which VPN node in the cluster it happens to hit on the way through. Just a guess though ...
